BioLogic Last Bite food plot is an annual fall blend created by BioLogic and obsessed deer hunters Mark and Terry Drury, of Drury Outdoors, to provide highly attractive and nutritious forage from the beginning of bow season through the latest gun season. Last Bite good plot seed contains forage triticale, cold tolerant oats and soft winter wheat, a quick establishing annual clover, and two different maturity rate brassicas for an all season blend.

How to Plant Last Bite is best planted by spreading the seed on a well-prepared seedbed at 45 lbs. per acre, then using a cultipacker to cover the seed. Broadcasting the seed on a well-prepared seedbed just prior to rain also produces an excellent stand — the rain serves to bury the seed at the appropriate depth (1/4 inch) and ensures adequate soil moisture for germination. Disking is not a recommended method of covering the seed — this would bury the seed too deep to allow germination.

When to Plant Last Bite can be planted any time after September 1st in the south, and as late as late October, as long as adequate soil moisture is available. In northern climates such as New York and Michigan, it should be planted at least 30 days before the frost date, depending on available soil moisture.
